Andrea Howard began teaching undergraduate psychology after a 20-year career in social service management. Wanting to expand her reach and experience, she earned ESL certification and taught English to foreign university students. Through the development of several entrepreneurial ventures, Andrea has always included instruction as part of her work. Whether leading yoga or belly dance classes or facilitating social media seminars, she takes seriously the role of supportive guide.
Andrea’s teaching philosophy rests solidly in a space of a deep respect for students as unique and supremely sacred beings, contributing complexity and their precious resources to the considerable investment in education. She enjoys being on the cutting edge of pedagogy, educational technology, and innovation for the empowerment of future leaders and change makers.
