Greg Brandes is a Professor of Law who has served as Dean and Executive Dean of three law schools. An expert in distance education, assessment, governance, higher education regulation and administration, and online/hybrid pedagogy, he co-edited Working Group on Distance Learning in Legal Education: Collected and Recommended Practices, the 2015 edition of the Working Group’s guide to distance learning in law schools. He helped states navigate decisions regarding bar exams during the 2020 pandemic, publishing, along with co-authors, the influential, Secure Online High Stakes Testing: A Serious Alternative as Legal Education Moves Online, SSRN- id3570587. He has taught numerous courses in law school and bar review for over 30 years, and served as a senior member of two university’s leadership. Dean Brandes received a J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and a B.A. from Marycrest College. He is a member of the state bars of Colorado and Illinois, and is admitted to the bar of the United States Supreme Court.
