Position Overview:
The Vice President Administration & Chief Financial Officer (VPA & CFO) provides strategic senior leadership for the administrative and financial operations of the University. The Vice President (VP) serves as a senior member of the University management team, reporting directly to the President. Qualifications:

- Previous administrative and CFO experience and knowledge of financial aid is highly desirable.
- Excellent working knowledge of higher education rules and regulations, as well as a broad range of fiscal compliance issues.

Position Overview:
The Department of Global DBA Programs at Sofia University is developing an open adjunct faculty pool for the continued development and integration of the domestic and international DBA courses and will fill positions on an as-needed basis. The Global DBA programs are migrating from design to active enrollment. This intentional growth requires the program to hire adjuncts for many DBA courses in the terminal degree program and in emerging business certificates. Position Overview:
The MBA programs at Sofia University are seeking adjunct faculty with a strong ability to facilitate learning for our students in all areas of business administration. Areas of focus include and are not limited to Business Communications, Decision Making, Business Ethics, Business Law, Finance, Operations, Marketing, and Information Systems. The MSCS department at Sofia University is seeking Adjunct Faculty. Candidates need to be available to teach on site at our Palo Alto or Costa Mesa Campus, on weekends and online. The MSCS department at Sofia University is seeking Adjunct Faculty. Candidates need to be available to teach on site at our Palo Alto or Costa Mesa Campus, on weekends and online. Areas of teaching include: Theoretical Computer Science and Mathematics: Algorithms, Automata, Discrete Mathematics, Statistics as well as areas of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, including Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Robotics, Data Visualization, Data Science and related topics. Understanding Quantum Computing is a plus. All courses are at Graduate Level.
Candidates must be well versed in Learning Management Systems, Canvas in particular, and be able to lecture in person and via teleconference. Candidate must be able to produce high quality learning materials, slides, syllabi, and be able to produce recorded lectures and talks.
Responsibilities:
• Teach courses on campus and online in 10-week asynchronous year-round quarters
• Participate in departmental faculty activities, as necessary, weekly staff meetings
• Assist in assessment activities
• Prepare student centered learning for quality face-to-face or asynchronous online teaching
• Work closely with the Department Chair and department colleagues
• Participate in faculty orientation and technology trainings
• Respond to student inquiries in a timely manner
• Provide substantive and ongoing feedback to students
• Meet with individual students about course materials on demand
• Schedule optional videoconference meetings for classes throughout the quarter
• Communicate student concerns to Program Office
• Travel as required to campus and other locations
• Submit book orders, syllabi, class roster verifications, and grades on time.
Qualifications:
• Earned MSCS degree from a regionally accredited institution and min. 3 years teaching experience required
• 1 year teaching experience and relevant professional experience
• At least two years teaching experience required on an LMS platform such as Canvas, Moodle, Blackboard, etc.
• Familiarity with best practices for effective adult instructional practices, flipped classroom, student centered learning modules, and the multi-intelligence model of learning
• Ability to manage questions and critical responses to materials, text, and layout of courses in a positive, productive, forward moving way
• Ability to contain and model professional boundaries in the classroom both in person and online
• Be highly competent in social, relational, and emotional responses that go along with academic competency to teach in the MSCS field
• Technological aptitude and ability to acquire new skills quickly
• Professionalism and ability to work with faculty and students in a respectful manner, honor all diversity and identity across the board at the University
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Experience working with international students a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
• PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering
Degrees such as Information Systems, Management Data Analytics and such, will not be accepted unless they are in addition to the aforementioned computer science related degrees.

The general rule provided by the Department of Education and regional accreditors is that one (1) academic credit hour is composed of: 15 hours of direct instruction and 30 hours of out of class work. Additional Workload Reduction may be granted based on administrative and programmatic assignments during the year. If the minimum number of students enrolled in each class is not met (minimum = 8), the class may be cancelled, and an alternative class will be scheduled sometime during the year.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual for an adjunct to full-time faculty position who has a Doctorate in Education and a Professional Clinical Counseling License. The ideal candidate will possess 5+ years’ experience working in an agency and/or private practice as a licensed professional. Additionally, familiarity with the CACREP accreditation process to help the MA in Counseling Psychology department work towards achieving this status in the next 3-5 years. Experience teaching courses in person an online with Canvas, including but not limited to, Research for MACP students, Assessment Appraisal and Testing, and Career Counseling are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
Teaching:
- Develop, or teach existing, engaging and informative online, asynchronous courses in Research, Assessment Appraisal and Testing, and Career Counseling at the MA In Counseling Psychology graduate level.
- Employ innovative teaching methodologies to enhance student learning and engagement i.e. reverse classroom experiential exercise, student led discussions, presentations of material.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to facilitate their academic and professional growth using a student performance rubric.
Advising and Mentoring:

Position Overview:
The department chair for the Global DBA Programs provides the corporate and global leadership for transitioning from the design-phase for these unique and new terminal degree programs to meet and exceed enrollment targets over time. The target audience for these global programs is mid-to executive-level potential students.
The ideal chair understands the importance of conscious executive leadership and business degrees that support thriving and leading change and transformation in complex and uncertain global climates. These programs include the technical and adaptive tools of global and local businesses, transpersonal psychology, and conscious leadership. The chair will have a minimum of 10 years of experience leading a business and a minimum of 8 years of applied academic experience in teaching and administrating terminal degrees. Ideally, the chair has global and domestic academic and applied experience, capably demonstrating cultural acumen in an ever-changing environment.
An excellent academic and business record is a must and experience working with business school accreditation is a plus. This chair fosters a culture of inclusion, innovation, imagination, and internal and external creative collaboration.
Global Chair Responsibilities:
Implementation of newly approved global DBA programs:
- Oversee program and course development and ongoing modification of these new executive-tailored DBA business programs, including integrated curriculum design and flow, the development of experiential and applied learning assignments, and consultation with experts in the field.
- Track student progress and actively advise students on their progress through individual and enterprise-wide communication including timely coordination with Student Services, the DSO office, and the Registrar’s office.
- Create an integrated course flow for the terminal degrees including faculty recruitment, business advisors, and staffing.
- Collaborate with support staff for global and domestic online and face-to-face courses including space allocations, streaming requirements, grading and attendance, CPT compliance, and partnerships in active and meaningful recruitment initiatives.
- Ensure that new and renewed curriculum design and development includes soundly integrated transpersonal and whole-person executive business and leadership principles.
- Develop and oversee the global DBA program budgets, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to support program goals in collaboration with the provost, marketing, domestic admissions, and Global College.
- Recruit, develop, mentor, and lead a diverse team of faculty members who are academic and applied knowledge experts in business, transpersonal psychology, and conscious leadership.
- Oversee faculty performance and evaluations, robust communication, mentorship, and global professional development opportunities.
- Create an inclusive, innovative, and supportive learning environment where students, business advisors, and faculty from diverse backgrounds and global backgrounds thrive.
- Lead proactive program review and collaborate with the administration on global and domestic student assessment initiatives.

- Pursue cost-effective specialty accreditation and support global initiatives and partnerships through the design of responsive, executive-level curricula and certificates with the Provost and Global College.

Qualifications:
- A PhD/DBA in a business or leadership degree from a regionally accredited institution.
- Minimum of 8 years prior experience as a leader in a higher education business program.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a domestic or global business leader.
- Public speaking and design of external workshops in partnership with colleagues to further the branding of Sofia University and the portfolio of academic products.
- Experience in innovative and globally responsive curriculum development, program scheduling, program review, and accreditation.
- Demonstrated experience building faculty teams willing to collaborate on program integration and delivery including advertising, recruitment, mentoring, leading, and actively communicating with faculty, adjunct faculty, business advisors, and support staff.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues, faculty, students, business advisors, staff, and external partners.
