Chia-Chi Alicia Hu, PhD, Counseling Psychologist 胡嘉琪博⼠,咨询⼼理学家Sofia Adjunct Faculty

Biography:

Chia-Chi (Alicia) Hu, PhD., is a licensed psychologist in the states of Washington and Idaho. Between 2009-2013, she worked at the Counseling Services at the Washington State University as a clinical faculty. She is experienced in providing psychotherapy in both English and Chinese Mandarin.  She is a certified Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercise (TRE) facilitator. She specializes in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and SMART. Years of psychodrama/social drama training and Qi-Kong practice also equipped her with all kinds of creative modes of working with people.  She is also the co-founder of the Asia Trauma-Informed Awareness Coalition, a group dedicated to promoting trauma-informed care in Taiwan and Chinese-speaking regions.
