Mimi Searfoss has a PhD in Transpersonal Psychology from Sofia University. Her research focus has been nonduality, self-transcendence, adult development, identity, and personality traits, looking at the intersection of these constructs and there impacts on well-being. She has an MA in transpersonal psychology with a concentration in spiritual psychology and a certificate in ecopsychology. She also has a background in alternative integral health, and hypnotherapy; as well as a background in design, running her own sustainable interior architecture firm for years. She was an Adjunct Professor for the San Jose State Interior Design department and guest lecturer in the Environmental Studies department.
